Just four days in his new school and Tuhin is already mouthing new words in English. Everyday he comes home with a new word. “Shungaishes,” “my home,” “I’m shoddy (sorry) mommy,” and “what happen?’ These are his new picks. I remember the first day I went to school, I came back saying “brrriiiiidge” and “terrrraiiin”. I am still teased by my family who meet me after years and say “here comes Brrriiidge and trrraaiiin” and we laugh our hearts out. Years from now we may do the same with my little one. As someone once told me, when they are little, the days go by slowly, but the years go by fast. So enjoy every moment. And that’s what I mean to do. Enjoy every moment of his innocent years while he still can’t pronnounce his ‘Ls’ and his ‘Rs’. These years are simply ”pecious!”
