In her little studio apartment she sits by the window and lives an exciting and eventful life through our achievements. Everytime my sister and I accomplish something - big or small, we call our mother and tell her about it. It makes her a happy gal. She tells her neighbors and sisters about it. This Friday I found myself a happy mom. Today when I told her about my new assignment, she was elated. I could almost see her closing her eyes and picturing me in LA, fulfilling her dreams. More than us, it was she who always dreamed that I would work in the land of dreams at some point in my life. I know the rest of her day will be joyful and she will have a spring in her step. That’s enough to fill my weekend with joy. How’s that for a Friday find!
